As new builds across the UK pick up and thermal efficiency regulations become increasingly stringent, innovative insulation firm Actis has appointed two new area sales managers to tackle growing demand for its products.
Jemma Harris takes on an identical role in the East Midlands. Jemma spent seven years travelling the high seas in her naval career, is a keen swimmer and cross country runner and has completed three marathons.
“My main challenge is to build great working relationships with distributors, architects and builders merchants in the area. I believe that the team work ethic is great, everyone really enjoys their job, and to back it up we have some great products,” she said.
Rowan Meyer has been appointed to area sales manager for the South East and London. Rowan has a global career under his belt – with a background in sales in his home country of South Africa and a stint in his younger years as a waiter on a cruise ship sailing between Florida and Mexico.
“Actis is a great company to work for - it’s friendly, down to earth and has motivated colleagues and management. The vision that the company has for Actis as a worldwide brand is something I want to be a part of. They’re great innovative products that will revolutionise the way the UK market views insulation. After developing product knowledge with my key distributors and merchants I’d like to focus on loft converters, refurbishment businesses and new age architectural firms who place emphasis on their projects being green.”
